Assist with preventive and breakdown maintenance of critical cement plant mechanical equipment, including crushers, raw mills, kilns, coolers, cement mills, conveyors, bucket elevators, fans, and pumps.
Support component inspection, alignment, lubrication, and replacement tasks.
Attend and assist in troubleshooting and rectifying equipment breakdowns.
Support the preparation and execution of preventive maintenance schedules, coordinating with production and other maintenance teams.
Assist in planning and executing plant shutdown activities, ensuring timely availability of necessary tools, spares, and manpower.
Adhere strictly to plant safety rules, SOPs, and EHS guidelines; ensure proper use of PPE and LOTO procedures.
Participate actively in toolbox talks, safety drills, and audits, aiming for zero accidents and full compliance.
Maintain accurate maintenance logs, breakdown records, and job cards.
Assist in preparing daily and monthly maintenance MIS and documentation for audits and statutory compliance.
Support supervision of technicians, fitters, and contractors during maintenance.
Coordinate effectively across Electrical, Instrumentation, Production, and Stores departments.
Contribute to training and skill development initiatives for maintenance staff.
Ensure timely completion of preventive maintenance activities and actively work to reduce breakdown downtime.
Diploma, B.E., or B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering.
Minimum 3+ years of hands-on experience in cement plant mechanical maintenance. (Cement Plant Experience Mandatory).
Proficient knowledge of crushers, mills, kilns, conveyors, and various material handling systems.
Demonstrated basic troubleshooting and root cause analysis skills.
Familiarity with maintenance documentation and Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).
Basic computer skills, including MS Excel and MS Word.
