This mid-level Sales Officer role offers a unique opportunity to own and significantly grow our market presence in the Sivasagar region of Assam. Strategically manage and expand the channel distribution network across the Sivasagar territory.
Identify, onboard, develop, and continuously monitor dealers and authorized sub-dealers.
Consistently achieve primary and secondary sales targets for volume and value.
Ensure optimal product availability and enforce correct market pricing.
Plan and execute local brand-building and promotional activities, including mason/contractor engagement events.
Provide essential technical support to channel partners and end-users.
Manage timely collections and maintain healthy fund flow from dealers, adhering to credit norms.
Actively monitor competitor activities and provide actionable market intelligence.
Maintain accurate sales reports, Management Information Systems (MIS), and sales forecasts.
3-4 years of proven experience in Sales or Channel Management.
Demonstrated knowledge of the Cement Industry and its trade channels.
Strong capabilities in dealer/sub-dealer management, sales planning, and execution.
Solid understanding of credit management and collections processes.
Graduation is mandatory.
Self-motivated, results-driven, with strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities for effective channel engagement.
High ownership, accountability, and a disciplined approach to work.
Willingness to travel extensively within the Sivasagar territory is non-negotiable.
Post-graduate qualification in MBA or Marketing.
