About the Role
You will work on backend systems involving:
Processing and managing application data
Integrating with external platforms and APIs
Handling data updates and synchronization across systems
Building workflows for reporting and operations
Developing and maintaining scheduled background jobs and automation
The role includes API development, database work, integrations, and debugging productionissues.
What You’ll Work On
Backend Development
Build and maintain REST APIs using Python (FastAPI)
Work across modules like orders, shipping, billing, and inventory
Write clean, maintainable service-layer code
Database & Data
Write and optimize MySQL queries
Work with operational and reporting data
API Integrations
Integrate with external systems (carriers, marketplaces, accounting tools)
Handle authentication (OAuth, API keys)
Debug webhook failures and data sync issues
Background Jobs & Automation
Develop cron jobs and async workflows
Handle inventory sync, tracking updates, billing calculations
Ensure reliability of recurring processes
Debugging & Production Support
Investigate issues across APIs, databases, and services
Read logs, trace root causes, and implement fixes
Work with systems that have real-time dependencies

Strong Python fundamentals (2–3 years)
Experience building or working with REST APIs

Familiarity with Git (branching, PR workflow)

Redis (caching, queues)
AWS basics (S3, RDS, ECS/EC2)
Docker (running containers locally)
Exposure to:
E-commerce platforms (Shopify, Amazon, NetSuite)
Logistics/shipping systems
Accounting tools (QuickBooks)
