Role Purpose
To lead and drive sales growth for Somany Bathware products within the assigned area through effective channel sales management, dealer network expansion, market development, and team handling.
Roles & Responsibilities
· Achieve area sales targets through effective dealer/distributor management and channel sales activities.
· Develop and implement sales strategies to increase market share and business growth within the assigned territory.
· Appoint new dealers/distributors and strengthen the existing channel network through market mapping.
· Build and maintain strong relationships with dealers, distributors, architects, contractors, builders, plumbers, and influencers.
· Lead, guide, and monitor the sales team to ensure achievement of sales and collection targets.
· Conduct regular market visits to identify new business opportunities and monitor competitor activities.
· Ensure effective execution of branding, promotional activities, dealer meets, plumber meets, and market activation programs.
· Monitor collections and outstanding payments as per company policy.
· Analyze market trends, competitor strategies, and customer feedback and share actionable insights with management.
· Drive product visibility, placement, and retailer engagement across the assigned market.
Desired Candidate Profile
· Must have 8–12 years of experience in channel sales.
· Preferred industry exposure in Bathware, Sanitaryware, Tiles, Pipes, Paints, Building Materials.
· Strong experience in dealer/distributor management, market expansion, and team handling.
· Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth.
· Strong network within the local market and exposure to project sales will be an added advantage.
· Excellent communication, negotiation, leadership, and relationship management skills.
· Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a result-oriented approach.
· Ability to handle multiple markets and work effectively in a competitive environment.
