Role Purpose
To lead and drive the sales operations for the assigned state by managing channel sales, market expansion, team performance, and business growth for Somany Bathware products.
Roles & Responsibilities
Drive overall sales and business growth for the assigned state through effective sales strategies and channel management.
Achieve state sales and collection targets while ensuring profitability and market share growth.
Develop and expand dealer/distributor network across the state through market mapping and business development initiatives.
Lead, mentor, and monitor the performance of regional/area sales teams to ensure achievement of business objectives.
Build strong relationships with dealers, distributors, architects, builders, contractors, and key influencers.
Monitor market trends, competitor activities, pricing, and customer feedback to identify new business opportunities.
Ensure execution of branding activities, promotional campaigns, dealer meets, plumber meets, and market activation programs.
Review sales performance, outstanding payments, and inventory movement regularly to ensure operational efficiency.
Coordinate with logistics, customer service, marketing, and technical teams for smooth business operations and customer satisfaction.
Ensure timely submission of sales MIS, CRM reports, tour plans, and business reviews.
Drive product visibility, placement, and market penetration across the assigned state.
Identify high-potential markets and implement growth plans for business expansion.
Desired Candidate Profile
Must have 8–16 years of experience in sales, with strong exposure to managing an entire state.
Preferred experience in Bathware, Sanitaryware, Tiles, Building Materials, Pipes, Paints, or related industries.
Strong expertise in channel sales, dealer/distributor management, and market development.
Proven track record of achieving sales targets and managing large business volumes.
Experience in leading and managing multi-location sales teams.
Strong network with dealers, architects, builders, contractors, and market influencers.
Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a result-oriented mindset.
Candidates with stable career progression and strong regional market knowledge will be preferred.
