Manual QA (4 - 5 years)
Test Case Design & Development:
Analyse business requirements, user stories, and technical specifications to create comprehensive and reusable test cases.
Design manual test scripts to validate functionality, usability, and performance, including APIs, services, and mobile applications.
Perform manual testing of RESTful APIs and services to validate request/response payloads, headers, and error handling.
Responsive testing across devices
Use tools like Postman, SoapUI, or equivalent for functional and performance testing of APIs.
Validate integration between backend services and ensure data integrity.
Execute manual test scripts and document results accurately.
Perform functional, regression, integration, exploratory, API, and mobile testing to identify defects and ensure quality.
Identify, document, and prioritize software defects in collaboration with developers and stakeholders.
Log defects in the defect tracking system and track them to closure.
Create detailed test execution reports, defect summaries, and testing progress reports.
Set up and manage test environments as required.
Work with cross-functional teams to align testing efforts with development, DevOps, and release management strategies.
