Job Summary

This role focuses on building, deploying, and managing scalable, reliable, and secure cloud and on-premises infrastructure for Merit Incentives’ loyalty and rewards platform.

The DevOps Engineer will specialize in optimizing the automation, deployment, and performance of .NET applications and Windows Server environments, ensuring robust CI/CD pipelines while driving operational efficiency across the Microsoft technology stack.

Key Responsibilities

CI/CD Pipelines for .NET

• Design, build, and maintain automated build and deployment pipelines for:

  • .NET Framework.NET Core

  • .NET 5+

• Tools:

  • Azure DevOps

  • Jenkins

  • GitHub Actions

Windows Server Administration

• Manage and secure Windows Server environments

• IIS hosting

• Active Directory integration

• Windows Services

• Ensure high availability and compliance

Infrastructure as Code (IaC)

• Terraform

• Ansible

• PowerShell DSC

• Automate Windows-based infrastructure provisioning

Containerization

• Docker

• Kubernetes / ECS

• Windows and Linux container environments

Automation & Scripting

• PowerShell

• Batch scripting

• Python scripting

• Automate:

  • System administration

  • Certificate updates

  • Deployments

  • Patching

Monitoring & Observability

• Prometheus

• Grafana

• New Relic

• ELK Stack

• Monitoring, logging, and APM implementation

Database Operations

Required / Preferred Qualifications

Education

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field

Experience

• 4–5+ years in DevOps or Site Reliability Engineering

• CI/CD for Microsoft/.NET ecosystem applications
