Showroom Designer – Bathware

Role Purpose
The Showroom Designer will be responsible for conceptualizing, designing, and executing innovative Bathware retail showroom environments that enhance customer experience, strengthen brand visibility, and support business objectives. The role requires expertise in retail space planning, 2D and 3D design development, site execution, project coordination, and stakeholder management to ensure seamless implementation of showroom projects across locations.
Key Responsibilities
Retail Design & Space Planning
· Design and develop functional, aesthetically appealing, and brand-compliant Bathware showroom layouts, display concepts, and retail environments.
· Create detailed 2D drawings, floor plans, elevations, and technical layouts using AutoCAD.
· Develop high-quality 3D visualizations and presentation models using Google SketchUp to communicate design intent effectively.
Optimize showroom space utilization, product placement, customer flow, and visual merchandising standards
Project Execution & Site Management
· Conduct site surveys and feasibility assessments to support design development and project planning.
· Coordinate with contractors, vendors, fabricators, and installation teams to ensure timely and accurate execution of showroom projects.
· Monitor site execution activities and ensure adherence to approved designs, quality standards, safety requirements, and project timelines.
· Resolve on-site design and execution challenges proactively to minimize project delays.
Design Documentation & Coordination
· Prepare Bills of Quantities (BOQs), material specifications, fixture details, and execution drawings.
· Ensure all project documentation is accurate, updated, and aligned with company standards.
· Collaborate closely with Sales, Marketing, Product, and Visual Merchandising teams to support showroom branding, product launches, and retail activation initiatives.
Innovation & Continuous Improvement
· Research emerging retail design trends, materials, technologies, and customer engagement practices within the Bathware, Sanitaryware, and Building Materials industries.
· Recommend innovative display solutions and design enhancements to improve customer experience and showroom productivity.
· Contribute to the standardization and continuous improvement of showroom design processes and execution methodologies.
Role Specifications
Education- Bachelor's Degree/Diploma in Interior Design, Architecture, Retail Design, or related discipline
Experience- 3–5 years of experience in retail showroom design, interior design, or visual merchandising
Industry Preference-Bathware, Sanitaryware, Tiles, Building Materials, Home Improvement, Retail Interiors
Location- Noida
Travel Requirement- Willingness to travel for site visits and project execution activities
Desired Candidate Profile
· Strong experience in retail showroom design and execution, preferably within the Bathware or allied building materials industry.
· Hands-on experience managing end-to-end showroom projects from concept development through execution.
· Strong understanding of retail fixtures, materials, display systems, customer journey mapping, and space planning principles.
· Ability to interpret technical drawings and coordinate effectively with contractors and vendors.
· Strong project management, multitasking, and stakeholder management capabilities.
· Detail-oriented with excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
· Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple concurrent projects.
