Introduce segmentation and targeting (by account size, vertical, geography) to prioritize sample allocation toward high-conversion prospects.
Establish KPIs and dashboards (sample conversion rate, cost per sample, cost per converted order, ROI of sample programs) and report to senior leadership.
Collaborate with product and R&D on sample formats (mini-variants, digital demos, test kits) that reduce cost while preserving impact.
Work with supply chain and operations to reduce sample production and logistics costs through batch planning, cheaper materials, or alternate packaging.
Drive process automation where feasible (sample requests, approvals, fulfilment tracking) to reduce manual overhead and errors.
