Design, execute, and troubleshoot experiments focused on recombinant protein expression, purification, and characterization.
Perform mammalian cell culture, transient and stable transfection, and cell line development for biologics production.
Conduct diverse biochemical and biophysical assays, including ELISA, Western blot, SPR/BLI, DLS, and mass spectrometry, to assess protein quality and activity.
Implement molecular biology techniques such as cloning, PCR, and site-directed mutagenesis for construct generation.
Rigorously document experimental procedures, results, and analyses in electronic lab notebooks and present findings effectively to project teams.
Operate and maintain laboratory instrumentation, ensuring optimal performance and compliance with safety standards.
Contribute to experimental planning, data interpretation, and report generation for internal and external presentations.
BS or MS in Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, Cell Biology, Immunology, or a related scientific discipline.
2-5 years of hands-on laboratory experience, preferably within biologics discovery or development in an industry setting.
Proficiency in mammalian cell culture techniques and recombinant protein expression systems.
Demonstrated expertise in protein purification using FPLC/AKTA systems (affinity, ion exchange, size exclusion chromatography).
Strong analytical skills for protein characterization using techniques such as SDS-PAGE, SEC-HPLC, and spectrophotometry.
Proven ability to design experiments, troubleshoot technical challenges, and interpret complex scientific data.
Excellent record-keeping, organizational skills, and clear communication abilities.
Experience with antibody discovery platforms or engineering.
Familiarity with high-throughput screening or automation platforms.
Prior experience with *in vivo* models or sample processing from biological matrices.
Proficiency in data analysis software (e.g., GraphPad Prism, JMP).
