To conceptualise, design, and deliver distinctive, market-relevant showroom experiences for Tiles & Bathware retail environments, combining 2D & 3D design capability, competitive market intelligence, and cross-functional coordination, from initial concept through to on-site execution.
• Conceive and develop 2D layout plans and 3D visualisations for Tiles & Bathware showrooms that reflect brand identity, commercial relevance, and aspirational retail experience
• Define design directions for showroom zones, display fixtures, finish applications, and product storytelling environments
• Develop mood boards, material stories, colour palettes, and visual narratives that clearly articulate the showroom concept and customer journey
• Champion concept-led innovation in showroom design, moving beyond incremental updates to create differentiated, experience-driven retail environments
• Conduct regular visits to competitor showrooms to study current display strategies, product presentations, and experiential retail formats
• Track emerging global and domestic design, architectural, and interior trends relevant to Tiles & Bathware retail environments
• Study consumer behaviour, lifestyle shifts, and category developments to identify new opportunities for showroom design evolution
• Translate international influences and market insights into locally relevant, commercially viable showroom design solutions
• Provide strategic input on display architecture, product placement, and showroom differentiation based on market findings
• Undertake site visits during the execution phase to ensure design intent is accurately translated on the ground
• Monitor construction, fixture installation, and product display setup, resolving design-related issues proactively
• Ensure visual and conceptual consistency across showroom rollouts while allowing room for location-specific adaptation
• Coordinate closely with the Product Portfolio team to align showroom design with current and upcoming product ranges
• Collaborate with New SKU Development teams to incorporate new product launches effectively within showroom display strategies
• Work with Dealer Networks and Sales Teams to understand on-ground requirements and translate them into effective showroom design briefs
• Present showroom concepts, visual mock-ups, and design rationale with clarity, confidence, and conviction to internal stakeholders
• Integrate feedback constructively while safeguarding design intent and brand coherence across all showroom touchpoints
• Manage multiple showroom design and execution projects simultaneously with strong organisational discipline
• Own timelines, deliverables, and coordination across internal teams and external vendors
• Maintain up-to-date documentation of design approvals and site visit reports
• Strong conceptual thinking paired with a deep understanding of retail spatial design, surface materials, and display execution
• A sharp eye for showroom aesthetics, colour, texture, finish, and product story alignment
• Ability to think like a designer and a market researcher, creative yet commercially aware
• Comfort with on-site presence and execution coordination, not just design studio work
• High standards of execution, communication, and cross-functional collaboration
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Design from renowned institutes such as NID or equivalent
• Graduates from reputed design institutions with relevant showroom or retail design experience preferred
• 4–6 years of professional experience in showroom design, retail interior design, or related fields within the building materials, tiles, bathware, or home interiors industry
• Portfolio demonstrating conceptual depth, spatial design capability, and successful execution of retail or showroom environments
• Advanced skills in 3D visualisation software such as SketchUp, 3ds Max, Blender, or similar
• Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) for mood boards and visual presentations
• Familiarity with rendering tools and presentation software for stakeholder communication
