Regional Sales Manager / Business Head – Waterproofing
The Project Sales Manager will be responsible for driving project sales business for waterproofing products by developing relationships with builders, architects, consultants, contractors, government departments, and institutional customers. The role involves identifying new business opportunities, ensuring product specifications in projects, achieving sales targets, and strengthening market presence in the assigned territory.
· Identify and develop new business opportunities in residential, commercial, industrial, and infrastructure projects.
· Generate sales through direct engagement with builders, developers, contractors, architects, consultants, and institutional clients.
· Ensure specification and approval of waterproofing products in ongoing and upcoming projects.
· Develop and maintain a strong pipeline of project opportunities within the assigned territory.
· Drive revenue growth and market penetration for waterproofing solutions.
· Build long-term relationships with key stakeholders including architects, structural consultants, PMC consultants, applicators, contractors, and government authorities.
· Conduct regular client meetings, technical discussions, and product presentations.
· Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through timely coordination and support.
· Resolve customer concerns and provide effective commercial and technical solutions.
· Coordinate with technical and application teams for product demonstrations, mock-ups, and on-site support.
· Conduct site inspections and recommend suitable waterproofing solutions based on project requirements.
· Monitor product application quality and ensure compliance with technical standards.
· Support clients with technical documentation, product data sheets, and application methodologies.
· Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets for the assigned region.
· Prepare sales forecasts, project tracking reports, and market intelligence updates.
· Monitor competitor activities, pricing trends, and market developments to formulate effective sales strategies.
· Ensure timely collections and maintain healthy receivables from customers.
· Expand and strengthen the applicator and channel partner network in the territory.
· Organize dealer meets, contractor engagement programs, seminars, and promotional activities.
· Train applicators and channel partners on product features, applications, and best practices.
· Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
· 5–10 years of experience in project sales within waterproofing, construction chemicals, paints, adhesives, or building materials industry.
· Strong network with builders, contractors, architects, and consultants in the assigned territory.
· Sound technical understanding of waterproofing systems and construction practices.
· Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
· Ability to manage multiple projects and work independently in a target-driven environment.
