We are looking for an experienced and driven Sr. TM/ Area Sales Manager to lead sales for private real estate projects in the assigned territory. The role involves business development, client relationship management, and sales execution with builders, developers, contractors, and architects to drive tile sales in the private projects segment.
Business Development: Identify and onboard new real estate clients (builders, developers, contractors) for private residential and commercial projects.
Sales Planning & Execution: Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets by driving tile sales through direct client engagement and project-based sales strategies.
Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders including project decision-makers, architects, and purchase heads.
Project Pipeline Management: Track and follow up on upcoming and ongoing private construction projects to pitch tile solutions and close orders.
Specification & Conversion: Work with architects and influencers to get products specified in project BOQs and ensure conversion to sales.
Pricing & Negotiation: Ensure competitive pricing proposals and negotiate effectively to close profitable deals.
Market Intelligence: Monitor competitor activities, market trends, and customer preferences to inform sales strategy and product positioning.
Reporting: Maintain accurate records of client interactions, project pipeline, and sales performance through CRM tools and regular reporting.
Preferred candidate profile
Education: Graduate in any discipline; MBA/PGDM in Sales & Marketing preferred.
Experience: 3-8 years of experience in B2B/Project Sales in the building materials industry (preferably tiles, ceramics, sanitaryware)
Prior experience working with architects, builders, and private real estate developers.
Proven success in achieving sales targets in a project-based sales environment.
