We are looking for a dynamic and result-oriented Sr. Area Sales Manager to drive business growth for Somany Ceramics in the Mumbai market. The role involves managing channel sales, expanding dealer/distributor networks, handling key retail accounts, and achieving sales targets across assigned territories.
The ideal candidate should possess strong market knowledge of the tiles, sanitaryware, bath fittings, or building materials industry with excellent relationship management and team handling capabilities.
Drive primary and secondary sales across assigned territories.
Develop and strengthen dealer, distributor, and retail networks.
Appoint new dealers/distributors to expand market reach and penetration.
Maintain strong relationships with architects, interior designers, builders, contractors, and channel partners.
Ensure achievement of monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
Monitor market trends, competitor activities, pricing, and customer requirements.
Conduct regular market visits to generate business opportunities and improve visibility.
Ensure timely collection and outstanding management from channel partners.
Execute branding and promotional activities in the market.
Coordinate with internal teams for smooth order processing and customer service.
Lead, mentor, and motivate the sales team for improved productivity and performance.
Experience in Tiles / Ceramics / Sanitaryware / Bathware industry preferred.
Strong exposure to dealer and distributor sales.
Proven experience in market expansion and channel development.
Good network within the Mumbai market.
Strong negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills.
Ability to work in a target-driven and fast-paced environment.
Graduate / MBA preferred.
Experience: 8–15 years in sales within building materials or related industries.
Prior experience in handling Mumbai territory will be an added advantage.
